PRAYER LIST

ECCLESIA MINISTRIES

We need three gifts of the community to make this ministry happen.
1. Prayers.
2. Volunteers.
3. Financial Support
.

Financial Support

Worcester Fellowship is supported mostly by individuals like you who care about the lives of peopel on the fringes and have the resources to help. We are also supported by several churches and have received some foundation support. Consider joining our list of donors!

Financial donations:
Our congregation cannot support itself in the same way a housed church can. We need donations to cover salaries and expenses. Won't you help support conversation and prayer on the streets?
• The ministry's 501(c)3 application is approved. That means that your donations are tax deductible in most cases.
• The majority of our donations are from individuals.
• We would love to talk to your church or other worship center, your mission team, or other groups about how you can support isolated inviduals in Worcester.
• We have received several grants, and would love to hear your ideas or connections to other granting organizations.

Congregations Can Join us in one of the following categories:

Partnering Congregations: These congregations are our mainstay for funding, volunteering, and for making real connections with our parishioners. Thanks to Trinity Church, Northborough as our first partnering Congregation. Six partners will form the foundation for the financial support of our ministry, providing $3-$5,000 each, and committing to support into the future. These undesignated funds support the part of our ministry that is hard to write grants for: worship, salaries, general operating expenses. Together, Worcester Fellowship and the Partner Congregation decide what is the best relationship for working as partners in ministry.

Sustaining Congregations: These congregations provide in-kind or financial donations on a steady, dependable basis. Storage space, monthly lunch, regularly budgeted giving, or other ideas! Providing regular street ministry, regular worship leaders, worship music, and your creative ideas are still needed!

Giving Congregations: These congregations provide funds, make lunch, and provide specialty fundraisers! If you'd like to do 1-3 special events in a year, consider becoming a Giving Congregation. Some provide gifts for a holiday worship, others develop interesting fund and in-kind donation raising events, some simply coordinate a sock, hat, mittens, or scarf drive.

In-kind donations:
• Drink Mixes: Large containers of fruit juice mix or hot chocolate mix. We make up about 5 gallons per week.
• Disposable razors and shaving cream.
• New Mens White Socks--60 pair per week.
• New Women's White Socks: 5-10 pair per week.
• Winter Gloves: 20 pair of men's per week in the winter, 5 pair per week of women's
• Dark colored, tight-knit mens hats: 20 per week in the winter
• Hand and Foot warmers
• Bus Passes
• Dunkin-Donuts gift certificates
• Communion Bread and Grape Juice
• Condoms
• Little single serving communion cups
• Stamps, thank you cards with envelopes, letter size envelopes
• Office space in downtown Worcester.
• Web Design: Make this page beautiful for us!

Please note:
We do not have a clothing ministry. Please do not bring clothing to worship. The Corner Shop in Holden is a supporter of our ministry, and provides clothing for our parishioners in need, and we'd love if you donated your clothing there.
